Thursday Theory : How to select flooring tiles Flooring is something we saught after a lot and miserably fail to select proper tiles . . . Reason being our lack knowledge, Lets understand - Polished ceramics are the go-to choice for bathrooms and partial kitchen walls, though synthetic tiles can also be used, While stone tiles be it granite, indore marble, lime tiles are suitable preference for living drawing floor(...wooden floor in bedroom is better for certain reasons) And if budget doesn't allow then Vitrified and modern quarry/sand teracottaa can also be used. Sunday : Sitout - let's design it better(dibs) Things to consider while designing a Sitout 1. Sit-out is meant to be open yet partially wavering wind and harsh light, thus never use opaque roof and walls, instead try using mdf cutouts / designer tarpaulin. 2. Never and I repeat never try to incorporate interior grade curtain/fabric unto sit-out, they are light and may requiere cleaning every now and then. 3. If you are planning to create cushioned seater, always use cotton based foam instead of bonded/poly or latex material, in long run this choice will turnout better. Always remember sit-out is not a beach shack and BTW we are building a really beautiful rooftop with a bamboo sit-out . . . will update soon.
