「 Being different is a curse, but we’ll rock this curse together. 」
A glare was the only reply the taller male got to his mocking. An extremely sharp and cold glare. His head then tilted to the side, his hand resting at his hip and his lips twisting in a sinister smile. Minwoo could be his closest male friend, but he was also the only one who could make him go into killing mode in a flash. "But she already knows." he replied and his eyebrows went up. "We went over all secrets between us before we started living together. Her condition."
An amused smile formed on the other’s face as he stared at the other with an arched up brow. “All of them you say, hm? Well that calls for a confirmation.” He takes out his phone and looks for the female’s phone number. “You cannot interrupt this call, not a word from you.” He placed his index on the other’s lips for a brief moment. “Are we clear?”
"No, I did not." Daehan replied with a chuckle and sneaked a look at his friend. "Ya're still the same stalker, ain't ya?" he teased the taller one and shook his head disapprovingly. "Creepy as ever. I wonder why Yejin misses you." he took a step towards the male and lightly slapped his shoulder, gifting him with one of his rare smiles that were reserved for people like Minwoo. The humans that were his weaknesses. "Use that stalkerish skill of yers to find us both at home and come visit, hm?"
“You have no right to call me a stalker, did you forget what you used to do?” He gave the other a side glance. “What used to.. you might be still doing it, who knows?” The slap was a gift he swore to return and did immediately then covered the other’s face with his hand. “If I do visit both of you, I’ll tell her about all the ladies you used to bring to my room when I’m asleep and the videos you filmed.”
A small green devil decided to remind Xeno it still resided in his chest at the words of his friend. He knew of the little being's existence, even if he preferred to ignore it, and he also knew that Minwoo was completely right about what he said. 'I will count on you.' he though, but didn't say and just smiled. "It's worth it, mate. Really worth it." he instead whispered, answering and finishing the later topic, casting his eyes down, fully aware they would show how longing he was for it.
The years he spent with the male made it easier to read him even if he did not understand everything about his friend, the older younger was among the best in masking their thoughts and emotions. Minwoo watched him silently then lifted his gaze to the sky and sighed. “You know how to reach me if you ever need a hand.” The immortal was Minwoo’s backbone, but little did he know about that. At some point in their relationship, the long-haired male knew the other had a secret, his actions were fishy, but he did not try to find out. “Didn’t you say you had to go to the university at 4?”
"No, I call clinginess yer attitude with her when ya' saw I was around." Xeno pinched the bridge of his nose and let out another deep sigh. "Victim..." he repeated with irritated tone. "If that rotter is a victim I am a fuckin' saint. But I need him, so I work with him." he looks up at his friend, knowing the other would worry about the person he was messed up with. He winked at him and gave a small smile. "Don't worry about me, darling. I can take care of myself."
He cleared his throat and looked away, whistling a bit before responding. “You got your hands on a gem and you didn’t treasure it, of course I would react the way I did. I would do again if you repeat your mistake.” He eyed the other from the corner of eyes. “Darling..” He snorted. “I won’t meddle in your personal affairs, but whatever it is you need from him, I hope it’s worth it.” Xeno was capable of handling it all, that much Minwoo knew, but even the best acrobat could trip and one mistake could be fatal. Minwoo chose to push the topic aside for the time being.
Red String of Fate
He was acting strange. The behaviour he witnessed lately made Minwoo suspicious, something was going on and xeno was trying to hide it, but his acting was off this time. The agent had drawn his own assumptions, but he went to check with the only other person who could help him. Tracking Xeno’s moves was not impossible, but it has hard to do it without making him suspicious. The immortal was more than just experienced when it came to those matters.
A door bell!
-he squints his eyes at the male- I thought ya' figured ya' ain't as madly in love with me as you thought, while you were tryin' to make me jealous and clingin' to the duchess. -he made a wave of his head and a deep sigh- It's not the old woman, more like one of her rats. A lab one at that.
You call helping her overcome the pain you’ve caused her, clinginess?” He arched up a brow at the other before rolling his eyes. “Why are you playing with lab rats now? Don’t think of all of them as victims, some can be vicious.” His workplace and the line of job he had meant he would know more than he wished he did at times and right now was one of those situations where he had to pretend he knew less than he actually did. Worrying about Xeno was probably unnecessary, but that rat was not easy to work with.
-he laughed and shakes his head- Those other matters got on my nerves, and I figured the only person I would run to when that happens hasn't talked to me in ages. I decided to check if ya' died or not. Doesn't hurt, doesn't take long ya' know?
“I am still alive, I guess I’m not as madly in love with you as I thought I was or maybe your absence doesn’t affect me that much.” The taller of the two was doing a good job keeping a straight face until then. “Is the old woman keeping you held in her office?”
