Meet R (W) - 6/21/2017

R is an elf! She stands at about 5′7″ and has very fair skin. She has long blonde hair with pink ends and pretty blue eyes. R is very sweet and gentle and she loves animals, music, and flowers! Her favorite flowers are roses and she especially loves red ones. She's 153 years old but appears to be in her early 30′s in human years.

R is really good at playing the flute and the lyre! She has a lot of experience with tarot and has a flowery oracle deck that she loves. She is skilled with healing magic as well and would be open to teaching her companion how to heal.

In her future companion, R is looking for someone who wants to learn about divination or healing! She would prefer to be more of a friend than a mentor, but wouldn’t mind teaching as well. Even when R is living with her future companion, she would like to go and visit her friends and family back at her original home in the astral, which she talks about fairly often. She may bring her companion with her if they would like to visit as well, so a companion who doesn't know how to astral travel would be fine with her as she can assist with traveling.

As far as her companion’s spirit family goes, R would prefer someone with a smaller spirit family (around 4-5 spirits) or someone who can at least spend quality time with her 2-3 times a week. She doesn’t need to be with her companion 24/7 because she’ll be visiting her home in the astral every few days, but she’s still new to working with humans and wants to get to know her companion on a personal level.

R doesn’t think offerings are necessary but she thinks they are sweet! If her companion decides to give her offerings she would like pink or red roses, fruits like raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and apples, listening to flute or folk music with her, and doing tarot readings or other forms of divination with her!

Constructive criticisms and concerns about the safety of adopting out grape isnt hate and it is really concerning that y'all wont actually address it.

Saying spirits are poorly vetted when the vetting process has been explained several times, calling the mods liars, etc. isn’t exactly “constructive criticism”.

We understand that there are concerns about Grape, but I’m almost positive that every single “message of concern” about Grape has come from the same person trying to make Fox and J look incompetent or make the shop look bad.

Chill. Trust Fox and J. Grape isn’t lying about himself or deceiving anyone, he likes to tell stories and exaggerate like a little kid. If something happens, it happens and Fox, J, or myself will deal with it, but so far all of the messages about Grape don’t feel like they’ve come out of genuine concern but rather a desire to make people suspicious about the shop.

It feels like whoever’s been sending those messages misinterpreted Grape’s bio or is blowing things out of proportion and is really reaching here. Relax, go outside, take a hot shower, drink some tea, whatever. Grape is an entertainer who likes to exaggerate, he’s harmless.

Oh my gosh okay so I just had this idea of making your glasses a vessel for your spirit companion (with their consent of course) and I figured I should ask you guys since you definitely know more than I do: What would be the effects, on the spirit, of having them bound to your glasses? Would it drain their energy because you'd be using the vessel to see?

I don’t think it’d drain their energy any more than wearing a ring with your companion bound to it would do so! It’d be a neat idea for a spirit who wants their companion to bring their vessel everywhere, but you’re also more likely to be told to clean your glasses all the time lol

What color is May's horn?

Her horn is a light ivory color. Almost white, but not exactly!

What type of vessel would May like best? My heart was jumping and my lips wouldnt stop from smiling as I read about her. I am new to spirit work and companions so I really want to make sure I do this right, Im sorry if this is answered somewhere else

May said she’d like something that her companion will keep with them pretty much all the time, as she doesn’t plan on spending a lot of time away from her companion. She’s totally fine with beginners and people who are new to spirit work; she’s new to all of this too!

May? what would your preferred vessel be? Plus what ages are you okay with working with?

May would like a vessel that her companion keeps with them most of the time, as she would like to feel close to them. She’s comfortable with just about all ages of spirit companions, as long as you know how to properly ward your workspace!

Would May be willing to help someone learn how to astral travel/project?

May said she’s experienced with astral traveling and she could give pointers on how she travels there and back. She’s not sure if her methods would work for everyone, but said she’ll give it a shot!

Hello! Is May okay with pets? Like dogs, small rodents, fish, etc? Also how is she doing today?

May is comfortable with all pets! Noisy pets are alright as long as May has a quiet space where she can be away from the noise for a little bit at a time. She’s doing well today; the weather is nice by me so she’s out enjoying the sunshine for a bit!
