”NIGERIA WILL CONTINUE TO BORROW”-FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
The Federal Government of Nigeria has said it cannot stop borrowing, a statement which negates reports quoting Mrs Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Finance.
While speaking on Tuesday’s Business Forum at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, she said:
“We cannot borrow anymore. We just have to generate funds domestically enough to fund our budget; mobilise revenue to fund the necessary budget increase.”
