Notes: the Will Wood singing is not relevant but rather part of my previous experiment with recording it with digital backing VS. without and I am still getting the hang of recording over particular parts. I think my statements will go on the other side of the tape to prevent similar complications. Don’t mind the dog.

I have recorded on the tape and recorded the tape into Vocaroo on my phone.

Archivist Graye: We look into the pockets of the hand me downs we laid out, wondering if we’ll fit into the yesterdays we — test, test, test, 123. I am Archivist Graye. I am a flesh freak with a tape recorder and an inclination to the Eye. It is good to meet you — (distorted) everybody knows that nobody knows that everybody’s all up in my goddamn business.

My tape recorder dislikes music. I am yet to test if this is with all digital recording, but it is strange because the first few seconds of the music I record are intact while the rest are slowed and deepened. This is true even if the digital music is a higher distance away than my main voice. I know it is not damage to the tape because I can record over it well. I am curious as to why short lengths of music are okay and why it distorts that heavily. I find this peculiar.
