The Solo Angeles de Tijuana rode their motorcycles outside the Chaparral “La Esperanza” border camp to give cheer, rides and toys to migrant children on Saturday, December 18, 2021. — The Solo Angeles is a motorcycle club that has been around for thirty six years giving out toys and gifts to the needy children of Tijuana, usually during the holiday season. According to the clubhouse it’s the only international toy run done in this fashion for children in the world. — December 18 also coincides with the international day of the migrant, recognized by the United Nations General Assembly since 1990. The UN through the International Organization for Migration (IOM) uses International Migrants Day to highlight the contributions made by the roughly 272 million migrants, including more than 41 million internally displaced persons and the challenges they face. International Migrants Day is seen as an opportunity to recognize the contributions made by millions of migrants to the economies of their host and home countries and promoting respect for their basic human rights. — #motorcycles #migration #internationalmigrationday #tijuana #tijuanamexico #mexico #shortclips #video #photojournalism #fotoperiodismo #documentaryphotography #everydaylatinamerica #everydaymigration #reportagespotlight #everydaylafrontera #everydayeverywhere #everydaymexico #everydaysocialjustice #myfeatureshoot (at Tijuana, Baja California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CXpj-4CLKA-/?utm_medium=tumblr
