I am essentially comprised of everything around me.
Born in raised in South Florida, I spent my weekdays in Broward , my weekends in Miami, and summers in New York.
I am the daughter of well traveled parents - a nurse, and an art curator who boasts his ivy league grad alumnus status.
I am also the sister of a DJ who brought hip-hop over the bridge to south beach.
Q. What was your defining moment?
A. When I was 16 I walked into footlocker and got hired on the spot.
It was my dream to work at footlocker growing up and one day my mom dropped me off so I can turn in my application. I requested to speak to the manager, we spoke, he hired me and the rest is history. Ever since then I've been a go-getter and accomplished everything I set out to do.
Q. Who inspires you?
A. Steve Stoute aka THE COMMISSIONER
The son of two immigrant parents he was born in the city of Hard Knocks . A true hustler he did anything to get a dollar including news paper routes and signing Christmas carols. Much like me he bounced around during his teenage and college years really to make his parents proud until he found something that clicked. I admire his tenacity to get to where he is presently from starting as a road manager to becoming the President of Urban Music at Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records. Even when he had it all he walked away and followed his gut to create and advertising company. You can tell now at this point in his career that he isn’t pushed by money but by passion and changing the game, and that is why he inspires me.
Q. What does Hip-Hop mean to you?
A. Hip-Hop is alive and it'll never be dead.I fell in love with hip-hop back in 2002, when Brown Sugar came out – its still one of my favorite movie’s to date. That same year Carmen: A Hip Hopera came out as well. I got more into hip-hop thanks to my brother who had crates of vinyl in the garage from the floor to the ceiling. I was so intrigued with all that hip-hop had to offer that I continued to dig deeper than rap into all the intricacies that are apart of the culture ; film, art, fashion, poetry etc. In other words Hip-Hop "put me on" to a lot that life has to offer and I'm forever grateful.

Q. What do you do in your spare time?
A. In my spare time I read, write, listen to music, go to poetry events and concerts of underground and independent hip hop artists, and support local gatherings that promote good vibes. You can always catch me somewhere in Wynwood or Downtown Miami whether it be ArtWalk at the Wynwoond Walls or at Blackbird Ordinary watching a film screening by Red Bull -What Difference Does it Make? A Film About Music Making.
Q. What peaked your interest in the Advertising and Marketing Business?
A. Jay Z x HP.
Before that was even and option HP was considering Robert Redford and Drew Barrymore. But like Steve Stoute said , what would they have to show that would be so significant that you would want to know who was behind the camera? Needless to say Jay Z had a lot to share and HP sales increased. After watching this commercial and knowing that HP did better as a company because of it i knew I too could make that winning combination happen every time.
