i’ve found these same pictures of schoolchildren posted elsewhere on the internet as examples of specific government corruption in Baringo County, Kenya. these pictures were taken years before the USAID funding cuts, here is a facebook account that made one of these pictures their profile picture back in 2023: https://archive.ph/orb4p

their user profile on gogetfunding says “I'm Geoffrey Bhule, an asylum seeker since 2019 in Kakuma Refugee Camp. As a passionate advocate for the LGBTIQ community I strive to promote equality”

but in their ask to you they say they fled from Uganda to South Sudan, where they currently live in Gorom Refugee Camp, and they want donations sent to their paypal account

Gorom Refugee Camp is 305 miles west of Kakuma Refugee Camp
