I couldn’t think of a better way to spend #intersexdayofsolidarity #intersexdayofremembrance than with friends, allies and activists up in Edinburgh this weekend for the IVSC Gathering hosted by the Equality Network on Friday. It was wonderful to meet up again with @3alexrobin, one of the first Scottish intersex activists who gave a great speech about their journey to raise awareness and how hard it’s been trying to find other intersex activists in Scotland. Despite the distances between us, we are now all connecting globally to shine a light on what’s happening in the world with intersex adults and children and to push for change. We snapped this pic to send to another activist across the pond who sadly was unable to attend the event, our dear friend @manchesternick, we’re standing in front of some #startrek art to also show #Trekkie solidarity with our awesome ally💥🪐🚀🛸🤓😎❤️💜💛 Now I’m home and have so much to do before work tomorrow, 1st priority before all of this paperwork - TV catch up and sofa down-time after a fantastic, exciting and special weekend of coming together for #intersexawareness. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4ufQSaHUJ2/?igshid=u7x77t7j2atu
