There are people out there, and you won't know them until they find you, that were made to be in your life. I don't necessarily mean romantically. They just appear one day and that's that. You belong to each other. I'm not saying it's a flawless relationship. If anything you two will butt heads. You'll say hurtful, terrible things. You'll know exactly how to drive each other crazy, what buttons to push, which barbs to use. These people... They'll know how to scar you and they will.... But they also know how to sooth you and more importantly WHEN. They don't let you push away. They know how to bring your smile back. They know how to be silent with you. They are a piece of us. Not the heart or the head. Not even a soul mate. They are our bones. They support us, they protect us, they keep us from crumbling under our own uncertainty. They want us to be our best and they show us how much more we are capable of. Keep an eye out. Be aware. Be someone's person.
