Deep in the blue... . Never have I felt so creative! As much as I miss all the madness, I can not not think about how amazing it is to JUST BE... Wake up knowing I don’t need to rush anywhere, don’t have to sit in traffic for 2 hours to get to the studio and be late, but just be... To wake up when my body is ready to wake up. “In the blue” is a saying that’s used to describe a snake that’s preparing to shed. Here’s a picture of Shadow, our Black Rat Snake, who is about to shed, and you can see that his eyes look cloudy and blue. We took this photo through the glass of his enclosure, so it’s not the clearest. But students often ask us what a snake looks like before shedding, so we wanted to share Shadow’s pic today!
