Can Demons Even Get Married? [closed w/IntotheOpenBlue]
No one ever accused Midori of being the smartest cookie and this is the reason the extra spicy big dad of bad news baras is trying to pick a fight with her. Or, rather, tried to.
Midori had gotten fed up with waiting for her cuddly little red head friend to come see her, he always whined about being stuck in the demon world most days anyway, so instead she decided to visit him for once.
Getting there was easier than expected, though the details weren't really important to her if anyone bothered to ask how, but finding him? Well, that was another quest all together. Sure she could ask around, only there was no one around to ask when she dropped in. So she began looking, trekking about trying to follow the weird pulling sensation her brain was giving her.
As she approached a, rather prominent, mountain range she was only a little surprised to notice several people coming at her. It was clear, from the 'spooky' noises they made and their attempt at formation, that they were trying to surround her, though she seemed to not notice that very well since they did have her surrounded in moments.
It was around here that she attempted to get directions, assuming they'd either leave her be or ignore her. When the smaller demons, very clearly 'minions', started cackling about 'making new friends' the young woman merely heaved a sigh. She didn't want to deal with this, she just wanted to visit her friend! She wore a special outfit and everything!
So after a swift battle, where she didn't even have to use her magic to protect herself, the 'big boss' decided to 'punish' her for getting rid of such good underlings. Or so he attempted. After about half an hour of wailing Midori's outfit is barely scuffed and the tall, orange skinned, multi-horned, winged demon seems to be on the last thread of it's own life.
Around now is when he decides he can't win the battle and it's time to book it. Midori, not wanting to have to deal with him later, goes to give chase only to trip over one of the bodies of an earlier opponent. By the time she looks back up, the scaly monstrosity is gone, barely leaving a blood trail behind him even as he lopes through the forest as fast as he can while Midori huffs at the corpse she's stumbled over.
“Huh. I guess the bodies don’t disappear here. . .” Though she seems to be preoccupied by the carcasses surrounding her, she should probably be more aware of the larger energy signature coming towards her. Though, if she paid attention to it she might still not be completely concerned.
