MOSCAT @ 31st Founding Anniversary Celebration: Intramurals 2014

Last September 15 -18, 2014, the Misamis Oriental State College of Agriculture and Technology (MOSCAT) celebrated the years Palaro with the theme: “One MOSCAT @ 31th: Responding of Globalization of the Philippine Higher Education”. The said activity started with a parade together with the students, faculty and staff of this college and Dairy student’s category. The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Elizar M. Elmundo affirmed the formal opening for the one week celebration in lieu of the College President, Dr. Rosalitp A. Quirino.
For the meantime, Mr. Carl Ubalde – Lawn Tennis Silver Medalist on Batang Pinoy 2013 from the Unit3 conducted the Athlete Pledge and the Lighting of the Um.
The participants of the activities were composed of both four teams in different Institutes/units and the faculty and Staff of the said school and the Dairy student’s category. The competing students were compose of 4 units: Unit 1 (Green Warriors), Unit2 (Mighty Hawks), Unit3 (Star Aces), Unit4 (Aggies Trio). So with the Faculty, Staff & Dairy Students category are as follows: The Blazing Green Hornets, The Orange Snipers, The White Turbos & The Yellow Dairy.
The various competition were initiated in order to give life to the celebration which includes, Ball games, Parliamentary procedure, Barn dance, Cheer dance, and ect.
And of course the Unit 2 would not left behind because they won in Parliamentary procedure and in cheer dance competition. The Unit 3 had won the Barn Dance Competition. Nevertheless, the declaration for the overall champion was highlighted by the Unit 1.
In spite of the heat of the sun and raindrops, the activity was successfully done with joy in everyone’s heart.
