Man, have you ever thought what an actual emotional rollercoaster would be like?
I mean, consider. Would the little carts travel through different areas, each representing a different emotion?
Maybe it'd begin with happiness, and the ride would be all sunny colors and fluffy rabbits and the like. It would be fairly slow and simple during this bit.
Then it would transition to, perhaps, love, and travel through pink heart shaped tunnels or something of the kind, moving at naught but a leisurely pace.
Anger would come next, with occasional gouts of fire and a building speed.
The cars would limp through the grey landscape of apathy for a while, more of a lazy river than a rollercoaster.
At last, they would arrive at the winding, twisting labyrinth of depression, full of ups and downs and twists and turns and jagged spurs of broken track.
The thing, of course, would be that the track was all intertwined. The cars would pass through each section at random, skidding from one to the next willy-nilly as they went.
I would totally make a theme park for metaphors and sayings if I could. So cool.
