this is leo! he’s weird. let’s get started.
he’s not actually sure of his human life anymore. he’s around 1600 years old, but that could fluctuate, as dates were not as heavly recorded among his people. his mother was a celt, and his father was a saxon. so, he was a perfect blend of britannia at the time. he remembers a sister he had, boudicca, whose whereabouts he is unsure of. he doesn’t know if she became an immortal or if she simply died. he just knows she’s not around anymore.
he was made into a vampire when he was older, around his late 40s. the vampire’s name was aristokles, a former greek politician. makes sense for him to be a blood sucker, yeah?
when he was made vampire, leo took his new immortal status as a sure sign of divine right. though, as he lived through english history, he became slightly disillusioned with his vampiric life. he began to lose hope, and aristokles, who had stuck with him in more ways than one had lost any mystery as well. in a word, leo was bored.
so, he went to make his own way in life, moving out of england around 1000 a.c. he spent time with the vikings in norway, learning some of their tattoo arts. he became fascinated with art and perfected the craft over the next few hundred years.
around the 1300s, leo returned to england, and much of his history is lost there. he’ll tell a thousand different stories about where he traveled, but the truth of the matter is that he turned many new vampires and built his own friends and family from that.
he went to america in the early 1700s and started his own tattoo business, though the art was not as popular as it had been. still, he excelled at making money other ways, namely crime.
by the time starksville was established, leo had made quite the name across the americas. he moved to starksville though a while after it was established, in the late 1900s in 1991. then, he opened a touch of ink and never looked back
