ryuichi was born in tokyo, japan. he’s from a lowerclass family, and was raised by a single mother, who he often clashed with, because they are both type-a personalities.

always had the feeling that he was destined to do greater things, and had dreams of making it big some day. singing is something he has felt passionate about for as long as he can remember.

at sixteen, he was scouted by a representative from a record company. ryuichi immediately dropped out of high school, which increased the tension between his mother him. though she acknowledged her son was a talented singer, she never supported his career choice, as she didn’t believe it would get him anywhere.

at eighteen, ryuichi debuted as a lead singer of a japanese rockband. they were quite succesful, but fame quickly went to the boy’s head. his arrogance and diva behaviour would bring down moral in the band. ryuichi would constantly fight and argue with his fellow band mates, because he felt like he was better and more talented than the rest of them.

despite all their problems and scandals,, they managed to stick it out with each other for three years, until ryuichi started spiralling out of control, and put partying, alcohol and drugs above making music.

after he got clean cough cough,  ryuichi moved to NYC, convinced that his talents were better suited for a worldwide audience. unfortunately, getting signed to a record label was a lot harder than he thought it would be, and the many rejections have severely wounded his massive ego. 

he moved into the apartment building about six months ago, and has been continuing living a life of debauchery ever since.
