NO SURPRISES HERE
I'm writing again! Show of hands of those surprised by this. (looks around) No one? Oh well, who am I kidding? I'm always gonna go back to writing. I may abandon this blog but I'll always pick writing up. The reason may nefarious or frivolous but I'm bound to go back to it. Such is my life. If I'm being entirely honest here, I didn't really stop writing as I just didn't let anyone see what I've been writing. This is not because I've developed a complex but mostly because I'm too lazy to type it. Yes, I'm one of the old school people (I'm part of the old school crowd! 😁) who uses a journal. I guess for me typing has always been associated with the school paper and typing my post just makes me want to edit everything before I post it and it's just too much of a hassle. So why am I doing it now? This venture into blogging has been pushed by my sister. She's still of a belief that I'd write something of significance. I don't have the heart to tell her that I probably won't. Now, here I am, writing again. Just a note to my grammarian friends: Read with caution. I have no intention of nitpicking my posts and will thus likely have errors. You have been warned so don't go telling me about my run-ons and fragments and SV Agreements. I'll be too lazy to edit them. I'm not even going to read my posts before I post them so fat chance on me editing. You may wonder what this blog is going to be about (if you're not, I'm going to tell anyway): me. That's the only thing I like writing anyway. This would probably (if I even have the inclination to write a post after this) be about my opinion on issues, reviews of books and cafés and the occasional snippet of literature I'm bound to write. Basically, it's going to mirror my thoughts. For those who know me, that ought to give you an idea of how crazy this blog is going to be. For those who don't, well, you have been warned.
