Bio -Corynne Michelle Parks was born August 15, 1993 in Snowbury, New York to single mother Patricia Parks. Corynne has never known her father, and her mother has refused to speak about him for her entire life.  -Growing up, Corynne was forced to raise herself. Her mother hadn’t intended to ever have children, a fact she made abundantly clear throughout the years. She did the bare-minimum for Cory, providing shelter and clothing. Patricia always kept some kind of food in the house, though from five-years-old Cory was forced to make meals for herself, and for her mother. -All household responsibilities fell to Cory, while her mother job-hopped during the day and stripped at night to make ends meet. BIO -Sean Lane Lowrey was born on April 19, 1991 in Chicago, Illinois to Marsha and Peter Lowrey. His mother, Marsha, was a homemaker and his father owned and operated a successful auto repair shop.  -Repairing vehicles of any kind was something Sean spent countless hours and days doing with his father, learning all he could and bonding with the man. Their relationship grew from this, and a solid bond formed. Sean has always loved his dad more than anything.  -Sean also had a great relationship with his mother. The two were always close. She dedicated her life to making sure Sean was happy, healthy, and taken care of. Marsha supported him in everything he wanted to do- every club, every sport, every activity.  -Through elementary, middle, and half of high school, Sean excelled. He was popular, friendly, and academically gifted. It seemed he had the brightest of futures ahead of him. At first, things were good, despite her wilder tendencies and proclivity for partying. That is to say, things were good until they weren’t. During the pair’s Senior year, Sean’s love began to spiral out of control, and became hooked on drugs and alchol. -At first, Sean did his best to help, to pull her from the hole she’d dug herself into. However, unfortunately, the opposite occurred. She dragged Sean right down with her, and it wasn’t long before he was hooked, too.  -Sean barely graduated, though went no further than that. In fact, after graduation, he didn’t go much of anywhere that didn’t involve his love or his dealer.  -Things were bad, and Sean’s parents feared for his life and future. Though try as they might, nothing seemed to get through to him. He was far too gone, and far too in love, to listen to reason.  -This went on for years, those years marked with many near-death experiences, homelessness, and sickness. It seemed the hole had no end. That was, until Sean’s love became pregnant. The couple was 21.  -Learning that he was going to be a dad flipped a switch within Sean, and in seemingly no time at all, he’d cleaned himself up completely. Having completely kicked his habits, he immediately enrolled in a local trade school and obtained his certifications in Auto Mechanics, before rejoining his father at the family’s shop.  -Despite Sean’s decision to turn his life around for the sake of his child, the woman did not. She continued partying, and although she kicked many of her habits (at least) during pregnancy, she did still smoke marijuana, and was more interested in hanging out with her friends at all hours of the night.  -When she gave birth to their daughter, Myleigh, full custody was given to Sean due to the drugs found in their systems. Still, Sean wanted to give the woman the chance to clean herself up, and to be a part of their daughter’s life. So, he stayed.  -One night, when Myleigh was only a few months old, Sean came home from work to find her mother completely strung-out, virtually non-responsive as his daughter laid nearby in her crib. Realizing his partner was never going to change, Sean did the only thing he knew to do. He packed both of their things, made a quick call to his parents, and disappeared.  -His father learned of an open position at the shop in Snowbury from a friend of a friend, and despite the position being virtually across the country, he decided to go.  -Myleigh is now 7-years-old, and Sean has been a single dad ever since. He has not heard from nor seen her mother since the night he left, and the only people who know where they are, are his parents. 

Wanted Connections -Sean would be interested in potentially seeing Myleigh’s mother though not for a love connection. He’d be interested in potentially working towards co-parenting, depending on whether or not she can prove she’s cleaned up enough to be in Myleigh’s life. -Sean is also looking for a best friend connection. This could be someone he works with, or someone he met in town. BIO Laura Rose Moore was born September 16, 1991 in Manhattan, New York. The Moore family was very well-known and prestigious, a line of old money and politics dating back for generations. Her mother, Melinda Hollings-Moore, was a well-respected academic and historian, and has acted as the curator of the American Museum of Natural History for the past 20 years. Her father, Richard Moore, the Attorney General for the state of New York. Laura grew up as the middle child and the only girl of the trio. As a child, many described Laura as being astute, intelligent, studious, and an old soul. 

Growing up, Laura was expected to uphold her family name, always presenting herself in the best, most put together ways. It seemed that everywhere she looked, there was another command. Another rule. Another expectation. Always being in the public eye added a certain amount of stress as well, and constantly having to be aware of her behavior, her mannerisms, and even her clothes lead to Laura feeling somewhat trapped. Weighed down by the expectations her life set upon her, she couldn’t help but to wonder what things looked like ‘on the outside’. As a child, Laura’s only reprieve from the pressures and stresses of her life was her Nanny, Juliette. Her parents hired Juliette as her oldest brother’s Nanny, when he was only a few months old. While Juliette loved each of the Moore children, she and Laura seemed to have a special bond. She made Laura feel as though it was alright to explore and be herself, to be creative, unique, and even a little messy at times. And, it was Juliette who introduced Laura to baking, a tool to be used when the girl felt too stressed or pressured, when things became too overwhelming. 

Throughout school, Laura excelled. She graduated as her school’s Valedictorian, Captain of the Debate Team, Co-Captain of the Academic Superbowl Fine Arts Team, and member of the National Honor Society. Laura immediately enrolled in Harvard School of Business, where she excelled. Once she graduated with her degree in Undergrad, she moved on to her Masters in Business. During her time in grad school, Laura met a man whom she fell in love with, an experience she hadn’t had the opportunity to experience up to that point. Relationships had never been a real priority for her, with everything else she had going on to focus on. But, this man changed that, and she let herself fall far harder than she expected. Things seemed to be going well- he too was from a well-known family, and understood the pressures she’d faced and the lifestyle she’d been shuffled into. Laura had believed the two would be married, and allowed herself to picture the fairytale life in her head. Then, one day during the last semester of her Master’s program, Laura found the love of her life in bed with another woman. She was absolutely devastated, feeling as though her world had shattered. 

Laura spent the next eight months in therapy, doing her best to pick up the pieces of her life. Through all of it, baking was there, providing additional support she needed, allowing her a sense of peace she couldn’t seem to find in any other part of her life. During one of their last sessions, Laura’s therapist suggested that she take some time to find herself- to explore the things she hadn’t, the individuality she’d never been granted growing up, nor in her previous relationship. After taking some time to consider the suggestion, Laura decided to do just that. The UK was somewhere she’d visited many times with her family, during her father’s important trips and her mother’s conferences. While she loved the hustle and bustle of London, Laura couldn’t help but to be drawn to the thought of small town living, especially in a place as gorgeous as the English countryside. Once her affairs were settled, Laura made the big move. Upon arrival, she made the decision to connect more with her first passion- baking. After some thought, Laura decided to purchase a storefront and open up a bakery in Woodcrest! She has been there ever since- coming up on a year now. However, she has not ventured out to meet many people. She has remained a bit of a hermit, and has been alone since the breakup.
