We couldn’t be more excited to share the finished work of part 1 of our #introtocanning Remote Learning and After School video #collaboration with fellow @eforallhq @lolaeforall alumni @millcitygrows for the @lowellpsd. 🙌 For this round we crafted some simple, #allnatural apple sauce using #hyperlocal #trulylocal fruit sourced from #NorthofBoston farm and had the incredible opportunity to share our love of #foodpreservation with elementary and middle school students across the City. 🍎🍏 We can’t wait to get back into the Root Kitchen with @macayla.cote and the master editing team at #millcitygrows soon for part 2! 🙌 We love everything canning, and our advice and years of experience are here for everyone. We had the best time this week filming #afterschoolprogramming with the team from @millcitygrows in their new #RootCommercialKitchen! 🎥 In a collaboration with the @lowellpublicschools, @millcitygrows will be doing a series of educational videos for students for remote learning! 🎬 This piece was a great start with a simple #introtocanning covering safety and the basics with a classic #shelfstable #applesauce. 🍏🍎 We can’t wait to see what @macayla.cote (boss filmmaker and student garden coordinator 🙌) of #millcitygrows does in the editing room (y’all know how I get once I start talking so they’ll be plenty left on the cutting room floor🤣) and will of course share it with you all once it’s available! 🙌 #givingtuesday may have passed, but we can all give back a little more and in so many ways.
