'Cause in a sky, cause in a sky full of stars.
She calls, on a busy day for Akashi, to watch the starry night sky with her. He frowns, and she chuckles almost instantly; she knew he was frowning. He explains how busy he was, with social events to attend - which honestly he would skip it in a heartbeat. She knows that to, and mocks him with his point and offers to meet him at his apartment first. Sighing, he reluctantly agrees to humour her and hangs up. Pushing his paperwork to a side, Akashi goes to change into something more presentable. It was already 6pm when she called, and she wants him to be ready by 7.
Hearing the doorbell ring, Akashi shuffles towards the door. He opens to a familiar sight, a pink-haired lady greeting him with a smile before complaining about how formally attired he is. he refutes back, saying that he was dressed ‘smart and casual’. Both laugh at his words, feeling at ease with each other once again.
Momoi pulls Akashi out, even though he complains that it was his dinner time, to see the stars. “You won’t regret it, Akashi!” Her shrill voice rings in his ear, which gave some comfort to the male. He doesn’t understand why, and dismisses the thought.
He doesn’t regret it, as they stepped out to his garden. The sky is painted with navy, azure, silver; stars are twinkling with pride, it was as if the heavens above staged this just for the both of them.
He nods, he never expected such a breathtaking sight to behold them. He wants to agree with her, and turns around anticipating her sly smirk and ‘I told you so’ expression. What he sees was even more breathtaking than the stars.
She stares, awestruck at the wondrous sight. Her soft pink eyes are fixed on the beauty, as a grin creeps up on her face. She doesn’t realise but Akashi stopped looking at the sky, and gives her a look of softness and love.
