After letting out a smooth chuckle, Jin smirks and replies to Kaede with, "oh Humans, always so touchy with their problems, their trauma, it's adorable, really, especially with you, mister Shikabane."
Not that Jin was foreign to the concept of emotional trauma himself, he and his people had experienced their fair share of anguish throughout the years, and 'trauma' ultimately drove a lot of what Jin did; what was a quest for 'vengeance' if not something inherently emotional at its core?
That said, Jin liked to think he was above the typical outbursts, dramatics, or 'visceral' reactions (like Kaede mentioned) that one typically saw with Humans.
"However, you're at liberty to feel as you do and not discuss the matter, I understand completely."
After all, Jin hadn't come here to probe Kaede's life and pry into whatever tragic history may have laid behind them… he wouldn't have minded hearing about it, but that wasn't his goal.
"I would prefer to discuss another issue, a matter of Cursed Tools and old treaties I believe you will want to hear, or at least humour."
