A head pat. (Ladybug for Chat Noir)
The two Parisian heroes had just finished up a particularly hard and long fight with an Akuma, resulting in them jumping on top of a nearby building to escape the feverish press. They needed some time to rest both emotionally and physically from their extended altercation, and so an ordinarily unreachable place atop of a building was their best bet.
Chat was thankful for the reduction in sound from their now remote location, sighing deeply as he closed his eyes to distress. He only opened them again once he felt a hand atop his head. He suppressed a purr from the welcome touch -- giving his partner a tired, yet affectionate smile in return.
❝ Nice job today, Buggaboo. You really saved my tail back there. ❞ It was a weak pun, and he knew it. Still, he found even his cheesiest jokes to be entertaining. If not for the fact that they almost never failed to get Ladybug to smile. Even if it was out of pity, he would take it.
