Hot take: I’m rewatching InuYasha and you know what would have been SO much better than the sequel? A PREQUEL. A darker show about InuYasha and Sesshoumaru’s father, Tōga, with each of their mothers or even a show about the priestess Midoriko and how the Shikon Jewel came to be (and we even know that Kirara was there as well!)
