He found himself rather conflicted on whether to even bother trying to cheer him up -- he’d finally won, after all, even if the human race would never realize it, and boosting his mood might alter that reality forever. But...he could relate to Zim’s “dilemma,” more than the alien realized. Hearing that he’d lost the respect of his leaders, the only people he looked up to, was like a reflection of his own struggle with his father...]
