Our wedding invitations
Two notes: W/O any promo codes on vistaprint the total was approx $180. I also had my fiance write this up. She learned from the master (me) to be the ultimate saver.
After calculating out that using the current black Friday code would have yielded a total of about $130 after shipping, I found a Groupon for Vistaprint that cost $27 but gave you $70 credit to shop on their website! While reading the fine print I found that the code given for the Groupon could not be used in conjunction with any other code (not a huge surprise as Groupon only allows one code per order!). While the Groupon code would negate any discount, I wanted to see how I could divide up the order to try to get it down to the cheapest possible while using the Groupons. After totalling the order full price I found that we would need 2 Groupons and then have a 3rd order that would have the remaining 2 smaller priced items.
Order #1: 50 Thank You Cards and 50 RSVP cards = $71 Order #2: 50 Invitations and 50 Save the Date cards = $73
Order#1 after applying the first Groupon = $1 + shipping cost ($4.99) = $5.99 total
Order #2 after applying the second Groupon = $3 + shipping cost ($4.99) = $7.99 total
Our 3rd Order would not come close to the Groupon so it was more cost effective to apply the Black Friday code of BESTDEALSOrder#3 140 Return Address Labels and 100 Place Cards = $28 Order#3 after BESTDEALS discount = $13.98 a after applying $10 in vistaprint cash = $3.98 + shipping cost ($4.99) = $8.97 total Total SpentGroupon 1 + Groupon 2 = $54Order #1+ Order #2 + Order #3 = $22.95Grand Total = $76.95
