"Are you just gonna stare at me all day, yo?"
( ---- don't mind him. he's always angry. )
Pain. All he felt was pain. An influx of burning passion was ignited through dahlia brims, letting it char his insides; the pestilential stick dropping to the ground. All the animosity he had locked away in his chest from the moment he had heard about his best friend's death was suddenly engulfing him, as he suspired softly; battered digits gripping the edge of the kitchen counter, eyes lulling shut for a few seconds. An attempt to recollect himself, if you will. Since his friends had died; they had left him and Winter in charge of nurturing and caring for the baby. Winter. God, he found her so fucking irritable. The mere thought of her made his skin crawl, and crimson fill his choleric mind; a groan subdued, as the extremities of his mind relived the moment when he had slept with her. Oh, dear. Even the thought of it all made him want to puke, and that wasn't even an exaggeration in the slightest.
An impending thunderstorm was curdling within the put of his stomach, as ivories bit into his unblemished lobe; glaucous orbs glued onto the baby cradled into the crook of his arms; a little puff of air suspiring, as he felt the baby's body expand and contract in his arms. Dalton hadn't a bloody clue in how to look after a child, and all he wanted to do was make his best friend happy. To watch the child grow up, and teach the kid how amazing his parents were. The resonance of the doorbell chiming snapped him out of his little reverie, as he moseyed his merry way on down to the door; tattered fingers coiling around the handle to open it up. Fuck him. Arctic glares were already obliterating the girl, ascending nods derived to her in a feeble attempt at a greeting. Oh, don't look at him like that! It's not like it was an easy situation, y'know.
‟Well, it took ya' look enough to get here. I was starting to think that you weren't going to show. Although, it wouldn't have really been that much of a loss."
