i love how they sprinkle in so many red flags about Nolan throughout his and Debbie’s date. things signaling his detachment from humanity -- “a few years ago” being 20 years, him focusing on mending his relationship with his wife as people Die of Dragon Attack behind him. 

It’s like he’s playing a video game, honestly. Ignoring people dying like it’s an annoying quest taking attention away from the bit he’s decided to be invested in.
