the thing that kills me most about Invisible Self is that BBA hears a school shooting going down, and in the rush of everyone trying to escape, She Runs Back In. hero. angel. weird and sad no more. BBA my beloved.

Affirmation
I am made in the image of God. My life cannot be destroyed by any means. I am the invisible man everlasting.
Learn to Be Detached From Physical Suffering - You Are Dreaming That You Have a Body of Flesh
To live only in the consciousness of this visible body of flesh is spiritually retarding, for the body is subject to the sufferings of disease, injury, poverty, hunger, and death. We should not desire to think of ourselves as this visible, destructible body. The invisible man within us cannot be hurt or killed. Should we not strive more to realize our unknown immortal nature? By increasing our knowledge of this invisible self we will be able to control the man visible, as great masters do. Even when the visible man is in distress, he who is aware of his divine powers as the invisible man within can remain detached from physical suffering.
How will you gain such control? First you must learn to live more in silence; you must learn to meditate. It may seem uninteresting at first; you have kept so closely in touch with this visible body that you have difficulty in thinking about anything except its ceaseless troubles, desires, and demands. But make the effort. Keeping your eyes closed, repeat again and again: “I am made in the image of God. My life cannot be destroyed by any means. I am the invisible man everlasting.”
*The great Masters of yoga have realized their superconscious Self beyond physical form. They see their outer body as a projection of that effulgent soul within. Paramahansaji teaches us how to give less attention to the aging body with its many troubles through the power of will, affirmation, and deep meditation. Focus less on the physical body as much as you can today. Step into the freedom of the inner “you” made of light and energy. OmLove, Annie
The OA - Rewatch (S01E01)
I finally convinced myself to do a rewatch of “The OA”.
The name of the episode is “Homecoming”, but it’s anything but.
***
Every time she says the name, I get chills.
Like in the scene with BBA in the school - she pretends to be Steve’s stepmom, but only by name. She talks to BBA as the OA, she talks the OA’s truth, she touches BBA as the OA, and she gives her real name.
And after that, BBA winks at Steve, and OA walks home barefoot. Her feet are important in that episode. She’s barefoot at the bridge, when she walks through Nancy and Abel’s door, and in that scene. It makes me think of the roots to the trees she talks to in season two, in the house of the Architect and the Psychic. Is she barefoot when she talks to Oldnight? She walks into the freezing water barefoot as well.
***
My god, 15 minutes to the end of the episode it’s like you start again, because it’s the beginning of the story, the storytelling. The music, her music, and the air shots of the snow.
She talks about the dreams and we already know - she is the Original Angel, she has had the gift of sight from birth. The fact Khatun took her physical sight changes nothing. She gave it back, after all, when OA needed it. With the first Movement. And OA lived her life without the sight and it made her stronger, it made her listen more. It made her understand things other can’t.
And Water is always the conductor. The ultimate conductor. In the snow scene, and in the drowning scene. Nina comes out of the water to Khatun.
When we start looking at other dimensions, Water are one of the ways to travel, just like the Movements, just like dreams, just like dying.

Khatun for the first time, and after as well, is in a room that looks like space. The OA recognizes the sound Saturn’s rings make, later - space again. Saturn is a roman god of, among other things, periodic renewal and liberation. We know Khatun is an angel herself, maybe a god. She has braille writing on her face. It’s all connected.

The name of the episode is “Homecoming”, but it’s anything but. Only at the end you realize it doesn’t refer to Nancy and Abel’s house, but to this dimension, as Nina chooses to return.
May I request an invisible self drawing based on the quote that inspired my blog URL, "The moon is always with a wanderer"?
Here ya go 💜 Your invisible self.
me, after.
“So, what happened?”
“Nothing, doesn’t matter...she said she likes some guy in chorus.”
“Well, that’s okay. You don't want to go there until your Invisible Self is more developed, anyway.”
“What?”
I wish people looked like their invisible self
Like if you're an awesome, kind-hearted person you should look beautiful to reflect that. But mean people would look ugly to reflect their inner self.
I understand the desire to improve the physical-self at the dawn of the new year; I just chose to improve my invisible-self first.
