The OA 1.08 "The Invisible Self"
THE OA S02E02 — Chapter Two: Treasure Island
This is the most Finn Kirkwood photo I’ve seen of Bertie that isn’t actually a Finn Kirkwood character photo, if you can believe it.
Tell me this isn’t him after saying something absolutely cunty to Liz that’s gonna piss her off all afternoon. (They’re gonna have a heated kiss about it in a stairwell later.)
The OA (2016 - 2019)
What if the elevator scene had gone differently?
I’m obsessed with Babylon (2014) and Finn and Liz’s dynamic (sadly, all we got was a ton of tension, the show got cancelled before anything could really develop). The fandom is pretty much dead, but if you like Bertie Carvel, I really recommend it.
I loved how Bertie Carvel's character in Babylon was lurking and always finding ways to annoy Liz, but then it would cut to him staring at her from afar like a real yearner.
Finn was actually upset when he found out Liz was where the explosion happened, and then the fight they had afterward was so hot; he was so angry about the fact she could have died.
Also, the way I jumped when I heard Bertie Carvel say "the Night's Watch," I was gobsmacked.
