~ 12 Years Later, Still Rebuilding the Future ~

Yesterday marked 12 years of me playing this game. A number that sounds like such a long time, but one that I’ve truly experienced as nothing more than a fleeting moment. I know I make a post like this every year, but for me it’s a kind of ritual—a way to remind myself to keep moving forward, to accept change and… to rebuild my future.

This year, I’m being tested again, with an unexpected move and a tough road ahead to have a place of my own, but… I’m not afraid! Change can always be for the better if you put in the effort, and as silly as it might sound, the Fanfest and all its announcements about wanting to improve, about continuing to show they haven’t abandoned the game, have given me strength. I don’t know—it’s been like an extra boost of positivity. Yes, we will rebuild the future.

Yesterday I didn’t do any story—I dove headfirst into something that brings me peace and that I had really been craving. Going back to housing! So my image for this personal anniversary will be my gardener glamour outfit, ready to fix and improve anything.

Now I’ll share yesterday’s screenshot session so you can see how the renovations of our GC garden have begun!

~ Between Goodbyes and New Beginnings ~

This weekend is definitely one I’ll remember for a lot of reasons. First of all, because it was the last Fan Fest I’ll get to watch from my current home. We have to move… and I’m really going to miss it. For now, we’ll be heading to a temporary place until, with a bit of luck, we'll find somewhere that truly feels like home.

Second, because the expansion is only nine months away—and it’s packed with things that really caught my attention. On top of that, my FFXIV friends and I actually got quite a few things right on our bingo… and there’s still so much left to be revealed!

I wanted to share some photos of how we experienced Fan Fest at home, and just how much we enjoyed watching it together from here. Huge thanks to everyone who works so hard to make all of this possible! Now it’s our turn to keep pushing forward so we can continue enjoying FFXIV no matter where we end up.

~ Still Here, Still in Love with Etheirys ~

It’s been exactly 11 years, 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day since I started playing FFXIV. Every year, I like to look back on this special day — and funnily enough, on the exact day of my anniversary in the game, there was a blackout across all of Spain. Such a weird day, but honestly, it was a lot of fun!

So many things have happened over all these years, and in the end, I always realize that I still love this game. Maybe it’s because I have so many characters that feel like a part of my world, or because I’m still a fan of the series (especially the classics), or maybe just because I’ve always liked MMOs and this one still has something that keeps me hooked. In short: playing it still makes me happy.

Sometimes I get a bit anxious thinking about how long I’ve been playing, and how I still have characters waiting to be leveled — or that maybe I didn’t spend as much time with them as I wanted. But even if the game ended tomorrow, I’d still say this has been a truly unique experience.

And yeah, I know the game’s golden age has probably passed, and after 10+ years we’re not likely to see any huge wave of new stuff. I’m not expecting major changes — and I’m okay with that. I still enjoy it for what it is, with its ups and downs, in my own way and with the people I care about. Both in-game and out.

It honestly warms my heart to see that, even after all these years, so many of us are still here on Tumblr posting screenshots and sharing stories. There’s just something really beautiful about that.

As always, I’ll be posting some different stuff over the next few days and updating my blog with more detailed content about my characters — and all those screenshots I’ve been hoarding like a photo album from my years in the game.

Well, well... Two days later (I've been sick) but here it is. The day has come. A day to remember, again, how much I love this game. 10 years playing ffxiv! oh really? Has it been so long since that April 29 on 2014? It's incredible, really. Sometimes I feel like it was yesterday when I started playing and 10 years of my life have already passed. In good and bad times, I have been here, in my dear online home: Etheirys.

This game changed my life a bit and certainly continues to do so. Everything changes and I have learned to see the good things it has brought me before and, of course, now. I wanted to take a shot with what I love most about Eorzea, what inspired me to create one of my most beloved characters: the Amalj'aa.

And... What a coincidence! Yoshida talks today more about the graphical updates and, as always, It shows his love to his game and, above all, his empathy for all the players who, like me, love our characters and everything that surrounds them. I'm sure F'raneh and my dear almalj'aa will look so great in the new 7.0 so... Let's go for 10 more years! Thanks for reading and being there. ^w^)/

This day is one of the most important days in my life since 9 years ago. Posibly, nobody cares about this but I feel that I need to write about how I'm feeling right now. This day is my 9th anniversary playing FFXIV but, there's much more. That day I start about of me. I kit tobaco, a had the power to break my old chains, and finally I wa happy to enjoy not only a new digital world but to enjoy de whole world. This is the day I remember the person who I want to be but these past years, I had forgetten all about this day and how my life changed 9 years ago. I had forgetten to care myself or, simply, how to really live nor in the real or digital world. So... I've seen the day in the calendar and I've said to myself... "Hey! What's wrong with you?" An Finally, I woke up. It's time to rebuild my kingdom in FFXIV and, the most important, in my life.

I really wanna say thank you so much to all of you! I send hugs for all the people who sometimes like/reblog or send me a coment about my characters or my screenshots!  I'm so happy right now, so excited to have new goals and, of course, for having this little tumblr that's only brings me positive things.

Journey through Etheirys - Invisible Bounds

Now, In these few weeks remaining to start this little project, I'm very excited. I know, it's a silly idea but I'm so happy;;; Anyway! I have decided to roll a dice to choose my first destination.

Oh! The dices told that my journey starts in .... Gridania! (>O<)!

You can check the result in the right side of the image. The first dice indicates the location and the second the especific area.

I wanted to create a little collage to inspire me and give me ideas for the new screen sessions to come. I will be in Gridania for a whole month trying to show every corner and every detail. And then I'll go through the whole of The Black Shroud. Now... It's time to prepare my package!
