it was raining. oh how alice loved it when it rained. the pavement lit up like a painting, and everything seemed to stand still and move all at once! 

the young girl danced about, her mud ridden shoes kicking up water with every other step. she was having an absolute ball, && when she saw an older girl watching her, she couldn't help but grin in excitement.
