Pamoon Tries To Make A Friend
Pamoon sighed, eyeing the unfamiliar faces around him. Sure, the boy had been able to strike up conversations with his class mates, but he still felt odd speaking around others. Despite being free of the stone curse, sometimes finding trust in other children was difficult. However, two close friends of his had assured Pamoon that there was an older boy that he could trust and they had insisted that he try to befriend this other mamodo. Still, despite the descriptions, Pamoon couldn't pick out their face in this foreign school yard. Hesitantly, he called out, "Danny?"

Pamoon stepped back from the crowd and eyed the signs before him curiously. Sure, he learned how to read a long time ago, but words . . . something seemed a bit off. Maybe he was just out of practice. The boy nodded to himself at this idea, knowing how he had needed practice to remember his stars as well. Still, it was aggravating when one could get lost even in the school, when he had poured over the teacher made maps so heavily. Pamoon didn't want to ask for help, but he could barely remember how to get home, let alone which of these buildings was the one that he had been asked to go to. He scrunched up his face, half looking at the signs and half scanning the crowd for anyone who he might ask for help from.
