     a warm breeze washes over the car lot, a small smirk beginning to cross katerina’s features. she had allowed the car salesman to talk to them for a few moments but had quickly grown tired of him and compelled him away. “i know you’re not the same as me, however, as far as i know neither of us can turn into a bat and fly across the country. we are vampires and i can compel. might as well use our powers to our advantage. now help me pick a car unless you want to walk everywhere!” she wouldn’t feel guilty for using her nature to get them a ride. and why should she? it’s something they needed and she fully intended to compel the man to do the proper paperwork for them to own it. they just weren’t paying for it.

She lets him lead her to the couch, only acutely aware that he's pushing her along more than she's walking on her own. It's been a rough day at work, and it only got worse when Eli showed up. She's decided not to tell Mitchell that her ex is insisting she return to Georgia with him. She's not even going to tell him that she's refused. Not yet at least. Not until Eli leaves. If he leaves. As Mitchell leaves her on the couch, she lays down and curls up against one of the pillows. The room needs to stop spinning.

     hushed whispers fade into the breeze as the young woman passes through an empty meadow. while tensions, at times, were raised given the nature of their british-occupied town’s divide elena felt fairly safe traveling unaccompanied with it in view even without the aid of her other-worldly abilities. however, attention is diverted when the trotting footfalls of a horse draw closer, blue hues drifting toward the figure of an irish soldier of whom she had the pleasure of meeting on a few occasions thus far. and though he be on the wrong side of this war (a viewpoint she could never express openly), there was something elena could not quite explain... something that continued to draw her into these chance meetings.

18. What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?

Abby doesn't want to be alone. As cliche as that sounds, she doesn't want to end up alone. It scares her to even think about.

As far as weaknesses goes, I think sometimes Abby's loyalty to people she cares about can be toxic for her. No matter how much she tries to deny that it is. Like with Mitchell. Any sane person would eventually get tired of the pushing and pulling, of the lying, of pretty much everything. Abby stays. It isn't just out of loyalty. It is her love for him. So we can probably say that love is also a weakness for her.

But love is also one of her greatest strengths. She loves unconditionally, fiercely. Anyone who she falls in love with (romantic, familial, friendly), she will love them no matter what. She might not always forgive easily when hurt, and she probably shouldn't forgive at all in some circumstances. But she loves with her whole heart always. If you're in it, you're there.

21. What personal problems/issues do they have? Pet peeves?

The first thing that popped into my mind for personal problems is that she can and will worry about everything. It doesn't matter how big or small. Nothing goes without a little bit of worry.

33. Would they ever kill someone? What would someone have to do to push them to kill someone? If they would kill someone, why?  

Abby naturally is not a very violent person, but I never count the possibility out. In some verses, absolutely she will and has killed someone. Several someones so that others and herself can survive. I would like to think that does apply when she's just in a regular verse. She's loyal, and she is protective. If she has to protect herself and everyone she loves, I would like to think she would do it. It probably wouldn't sit well with her at first, but if she doesn't even remotely struggle with killing someone for whatever reason, then I would worry.

36. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?

Coffee. Abby really really really really needs coffee. And she will do anything to get it. (if you freaking thought I was going to fully answer these seriously, Liz. You were wrong)

39. What is in your characters refrigerator right now? On their bedroom floor? Nightstand? Garbage can?

(I'm 100% positive this is the question you thought I was going to fuck up)

Fridge: Soy milk, bottles of water. cream soda, sliced turkey, mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, various (read as lots) take out containers.

Bedroom floor: At least one hoodie exactly

Nightstand: A book, sleep aid if she needs it, glass of water

Garbage can: take out containers, junk mail, receipts she doesn't needs, Mitchell

I. It lasts just a few seconds. A goodnight kiss to her forehead as she’s falling asleep. They’re cuddling on the couch, soft music playing in the background. Neither of them have ever been more relaxed. Neither of them want to move. Everything is calm. Everything is perfect. And, while Abby knows it’s only a matter of time before it all goes to hell again, she’s not worrying about a thing.

II. She’s had a hard time keeping her hands off him, especially know that he’s turned her. Every craving is heightened. For food. For blood. For sex. All of it. She slams him against the wall, hands already pushing his shirt up. She cannot help herself. Her lips attack his skin. Her kiss is just as heated as the one she placed on his lips a few seconds ago. “I need you naked right now,” she tells him. “Do not make me wait.” Her eyes flash black, and he knows to comply without argument. 

III. They’re dancing. A slow waltz around the room. Her parents, their friends, the whole room watches the two of them. With all they’ve been through, they deserve this moment. Something they’ll remember for decades to come. Their first dance as husband and wife. She smiled up at him. They don’t speak a word. Their happiness is written all over their face, and someone whispers how so obviously in love they are with one another. She stands on her tiptoes, still moving with him and the music, and she presses her lips to his. 

IV. The night took an unexpected turn. From Annie trying to cross over to the ghost popping into Abby’s living room to tell her Mitchell’s been hurt. Dying. That’s what Annie told her. Now Abby is sitting next to him in the hospital, chewing her thumbnail tot he point it’s bleeding.He’s been unconscious all night. The staff aren’t sure what to do with him. He isn’t dying, but the machines couldn’t discern that. It’s not a surprise to Abby. Vampires weren’t exactly alive, but they weren’t dead either. Mitchell groans, shifting in bed. She’s immediately taking his hand, bringing it to her lips. “You scared me so much.” 

V. Seconds. They only have seconds left. He’s made his decision. He doesn’t want to continue on anymore. He’s done too much. She isn’t arguing. It’s his choice. Forever isn’t int he cards for him. It can’t be. He’s choosing to reach the end, and she cannot blame him. She suspects she’ll follow him shortly. It’s with a kiss that she presses the piece of wood into his heart. Their goodbye has to be short. They don’t utter a word. The kiss says it all. I love you. I’m going to miss you. I’ll see you soon.

Her flight had been somewhat exhausting; mostly because she was excited to get back to England. Abby had meant to call Mitchell. She wanted to see him, but she made the mistake of collapsing onto her couch. Sleep won for a while at least. Hours later she was being woken up by her front door opening. Mitchell didn’t give her time to even greet him or apologize for not letting him know she was back. His long legs carried him to her within seconds, and he kissed her without a word. Immediately Abby melted into the kiss.
