Sally couldn’t help grinding her teeth as Andrea (Anthea- she corrected herself mentally. She had trouble thinking of the woman by her former name) tapped incessantly on the keys of her Blackberry. She knew that it was a bad habit but it didn’t stop her from doing it especially when soft loose curls were splayed across her shoulder and she could see the name of the arse that was stealing away her date’s attentions.
It had to be a Holmes.
Sally rubbed her temples. Even in her free time, Holmeses were determined to give her a headache. She could feel the ghost of the pounding that would be in her…
Anthea’s strawberry shampoo invaded her nose and soft lips slid along hers, coconut flavor tinting her tongue as she was snogged. The blood rushed in her ears and she could feel the telltale heat as she clutched at the other woman’s lavender shirt.
“You can stop pouting, Sal. I’m telling him I’ll be… unavailable.” Anthea spoke, eyebrows raised and lopsided smile tugging at her usually stoic façade.
Sally scoffed but smiled wider as the cursed Blackberry was pocketed and the following vibration was left unanswered.
