Hhbghg thinking a lot about how much Iolys has already healed from being with the party even though hes still trapped in the cult atm. How for years theyve been stamping out his personality and emotions and conditioning him into a blank slate of obedient cruelty for crueltys sake and how i played him like that to start with. Just mean for the hell of it. But now ive subconsciously been thinking and drawing him so much more emotive, allowing himself to feel and show emotions other than the bitchy judgement he gave everybody in his guildtown days. He laughs with his friends, he openly admits he cares for them, he displays genuine anger at things that upset him hes letting himself make facial expressions other than 'bored'! And the few times hes regressed back into that depressed blankness have all been when the cult have jumped back in to screw him over and remind him who he belongs to. Hes growing so much without them there to crush him back into the dirt <3 i hope they keep doing it
