Happy Valentine’s day ! Since 2018, I’ve started to draw each pair each year. Finally I’ve completed the Boueibu this year and my chibi’s style changed a little ^^’
Why I ship Ryuko x Iori
- Don’t mind about my bad English - Don’t mind about the bad image cuts - None of the images are mine
Yeah, it’s a silly ship. Like those who the characters have nothing to do with each other and people still ship it because they can. I have notion of it, that Iori and Ryuko never had even looked to each other in the anime. But, still, why don’t we give it a chance, even if it looks the most impossible couple ever? Honestly, that’s what makes this ship fascinating. I can’t say what they have in common, I can’t say why I don’t ship them with other characters, I can’t say what I have seen in both, neither why I thought they can be together. But love is like it, isn’t it? You look to someone and think “I’ll never fall in love with him/her” and puff, when you look again, your heart is accelerated. I can’t say that this happens with everybody, but it’s a type of love. The accidental type.
Okay, so let’s take a breath and look at those images. Do you see the accidental looks they give and the times they are side by side? Yeah, I’m being a little too crazy about it, it’s nothing too much, it’s just coincidences. But it can’t pass unseen. Playing the fangirl here, they look too much awesome together. The nerd and the bully, isn’t it? The rejected and the famous? The more you see, the more they look like the cliche love of the movies and books. Summarizing, Ryuko and Iori are always so close, but always so far. Too far.
So, to ship it, you have to get an open mind to every single little chance of Iori x Ryuko. Please, people who don’t like me, or this ship, or just don’t like my English, I ask you to do not attack me with contradictions about it. I struggled too much to write this for the ignorant people who say that I’m lunatic for shipping it. I know this is nonsense, I know that I am wrong in so much things, I know this can be the worst ship of the anime, but still, I love it and my heart speeds up with it. Deal with it.
Byes!
The Moon, The Sun
My GOD, it’s the first time that I use linework properly O.O I’m so regretful that I didn’t use it earlier -.-
So, I have associated them with the moon ‘n’ the sun (Obviously) Idk, Ryuko remembers the night a little with the kind of blue in the hair, the bright blue eyes and the light skin. Of course, also has to do with her obscure past. With Iori it’s more superficial, because of his gold eyes, the long and blond hair like sunbeams and the quantity of responsability.
“Not Just About The Papers”
>//////< I got the idea from a draw that I’ve seen of AikuroxRyuko, sorry I don’t know how to be original ;--; (I’d liked to put a little color in the background, but it was too work for me)
This fucking show I swear.
Sneaking a picture of Io when he wasn't looking, huh Ryuu? :3
And they're both so mad that the other just won't cofess.... Seriously. This show needs more IoRyuu moments <3
