I upgraded to iOS 8.4 on my phone, but it has completely changed the music app, which I use a lot to help stave off meltdowns when I'm overstimulated, and now I'm panicking because I can't find anything. Can you give me any advice on how to deal with this?
Take a deep breath for a minute and pause. You can always look at it again when you’re not overwhelmed.
When you’re able to look at it again, try looking around online for guides on how to use the new app. Get yourself used to it when you’re not needing it in an emergency, so that when you do need to use it it’ll be familiar again.
Change can be hard and I know it sucks. I hate UI changes the most, especially because I get very used to how things look. There might be some things you can do to make it look like the old app, or function like it. I’m not familiar with iOS since I’ve moved to an android tablet now.
