Project #1 - Transforming iPad Pro into a Daily Workhorse
I know its a rather dated attempt, but nothing was in place to write about when Apple first introduces the iPad OS. Yes, we could see more application icons now littering the bottom tab of our tablets, but not many third-party applications were able to take advantage of her bigger screen real estate nor her rudimentary mouse support much later.
For one, I found it half-baked, lukewarm, with the operating system only able to carry some of Apple’s in-house functionalities remotely useful to coming close to allowing me to leave my Macbook Air on the side.
But as how technology advances, the recent roadmap on the iPad OS, together with a growing collective pool of applications now capitalizing her strength, its a good opportune time to finally dabble with a serious review how a tablet as such can better cover what a conventional laptop is designed to do.
With a series of articles, I hope I can share with all my journey of making her the very best tool for my daily workflow, not as a photographer per say but also as a technology entrepreneur.
You are most welcome to follow my lead should this be of some interest to you too. For that, you will need to first get a proper keyboard for your iPad Pro. After a big marigold round of testing and reviewing half a dozen of keyboard on the market, I say that the Brydge Pro seems to fit the bill for her cost versus performance, hence becoming my preferred tool of choice.
