'Marsh Lights' the last illustration I painted for @infinite.painter in #infinitepainterapp on my iPad Pro 2017. Looks friendly? Marsh Lights were tricky, wanderers lost in the woods at night believed they see a camp fire and follow them stright into the marshes. This girl could be a rusałka (water demon from Slavic mythology), a siren or just a girl. I had quite a lot artworks I don't have time to post. My life recently is divided between work (which is illustrating, so I really love it) and figuring out 3D in Blender. So I am constantly tired, sleepy, excited and frustrated, depending on whether I can follow Blender tutorial or things go wrong, and I can't understand why, so I spend another 5 hours, late at night trying to find a solution... 3D is so different than digital art! It reminds me my beginnings with Photoshop, when all tools and features looked like a kind of black magic. Now I love apps for digital art and can do almost everything in them. Will be ever the same case with 3D? We will see. Anyway, maybe you are just starting with digital painting, and feel lost or confused? Let me know about your experiences! If so, I feel you! I often don't value illustrations that didn't take time and effort. Like I should draw or paint for long hours to create something worth attention. Do you feel the same?
