Seven
She had always wondered what lied beyond those walls
Towering so high
making her feel so safe.
Yet as days faded to months and months withered to years, she begun to understand that the very garden in which she sat was poisoned.
Heartbreak. Disappointment. Fear.
Yet consistency brings comfortability and not all misery loves company.
There was something she craved. Something unidentifiable, something almost as deadly as love. Or was it lust?
A lust that loves the way the sun looks at the moon
A love that lusts as the sky does for the stars.
She lusted for a love that would not leave.
She loved the feeling of lust. His lust. But he was forbidden.
Much like the fruit
found in the garden
that confined her.
