I grew up in a dysfunctional family where I spent most of my time alone or getting screamed at.  I’m now an adult with more triggers than a gun store but I found someone that came equipped with a shit load trigger guards.  I’m a Mom too and I was struggling to relate to my oldest daughter because I grew up so fast I don’t remember what it’s like to be an 8 year old girl.  A wonderful person pointed out that what’s normal for some isn’t the same thing for others.  I still don’t understand 8 year old girls but I understand my kid and I’m making sure she gets to enjoy being a kid for as long as possible thanks to that advice.

  1. What’s the closest thing to you on your left?

Hmmm… *glances* That would be my beanbag (I’m sat on it, but only on half of it)! Or a pile of books, including Cloud Atlas, which I just bought today! :D

  2. Recommend a fanfiction. 

Ahh, but there’s so many! My favourite one ever though is a Wing!Lock fanfic, called Side of the Angels by Redfeatherz66. It is the most perfect, in character fanfic ever, but it hasn’t been updated in months and I’m over here crying and waiting because it is just so amazing. Highly recommended!

  3. Name a fandom you’re new to.

I’d say the SPN family. I’m ordering the box set off Amazon as soon as I get some money, and I’m really intrigued to see what the fuss is about! I’m sure it will be amazing.

4. Cat person/dog person?

No, you can’t make me choose! *sobs* I have cats and a dog and I love them all equally, so I’m both.

5. Name something you hate about a fandom you’re in.

Sherlockians- even though I love you all to pieces, please, PLEASE stop being so judgemental and hating on characters/ships which aren’t yours!

6. Which blog do you wish was yours?

Yeah, there’s this amazing blog called MetaphoricalRhetorical ran by an even more amazing person called Briar, and I wish I could be even half as awesome and talented as she and her blog are!

  7. Where would you love to travel to?

Oh, I just want to travel anywhere and everywhere as soon as I can! Bunch of friends, car, take to the open road! Seriously, my town is so boring; I have a list of 101 things and places to go! I want to see the Northern Lights, LA, America, Paris, Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives, markets in India, Boyoma Falls, Canaima National Park in Venezuela, the Great Barrier Reef, Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro in festival season, just to name a few! I just want to get out and see the world!

8. Do you enjoy musical theatre?

I do!

9. Recommend a film that you think more people should see.

Hmm… I’m not sure on films! Most of the films I see are quite popular anyway… How about a TV series? Because loads more people should watch Being Human (UK)! It’s a comedy about a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost all living under the same roof. Series 1-3 have different characters to Series 4-5, and it’s finished now, but it’s been so amazing- funny at times but at others I’ve actually cried. Everything you love dies.

10. Do you play an instrument?

I can play the piano and a little bit of guitar.  I can also play a bit of flute, even though I haven't done it in ages and Song of Storms on the ocarina, seeing as I used to be a massive Zelda fan! I'm better at piano though.

11. Can you cook?

Welll… Define “cooking”. I think it depends on how I’m feeling to be honest. I can make cakes, until I decide to mix up flour with icing sugar, or mess with the ingredients to see what would happen. It’s experimental cooking you see! I like to make things, but whether they taste nice or not is a matter of opinion!

1. What kind of Nobel Prize would you win?  Is there something for the laziest and the shyest girl ever? Cause I'd win that.

2. Which planet in our solar system is your favourite? (sherlock awh yiss) Jupiter! He's so big and he saved us aww. ( yes Jupiter is a he, problems? ) I miss Pluto tho ç_ç

3. Tea or coffee? Teateatea. I love tea, it relaxes me and it makes me happy. I drink something like 3 cups of tea a day. I might be addicted.

4. Would you become a vegetarian for a year, and if you are a vegetarian, would you eat meat for a year? I don't think I could ever be a vegetarian because I love meat and I hate vegetables ç_ç  

5. Winter or summer? Winter. I love rain, snow, warm jumpers, drinking hot tea and chocolate and I love wrapping myself up in blankets <3

6. If you play video games, what console do you prefer? Playstation 3, but I don't have one ç_ç I mostly play games on Wii and my computer.

7. Which countries in the world have you visited? Not so many. I have been to  Spain ( Valencia ), England ( London ) and Czech Republic ( Prague ).
