Breaking radio silence

Things have been...

Well, interesting since the last time I had a chance to write. Lots of new developments that I've had a hard time keeping track of, but some of the bigger ones are the following:

One: Another anomaly, this one in Cross Plains, Texas. Over and done with now, but some strange things happened there - the most important one is that some mysterious symbols started appearing near XM hotspots in the area.

Apparently a former Niantic researcher was in the area and kind of... freaked out when he saw them, actually.

Also, it looks like there are three new players in the game - Hulong Transglobal, IQTech, and Visur Technologies, all of whom have had hands in developing some new equipment.

Speaking of Hulong Transglobal... something funny going on. Been hearing rumors that they've got boots on the ground in Portland, Oregon - and that shortly after said boots hit the ground, people noticed some funny readings in the XM fields out that way.

What the hell is Hulong up to? Are they trying to induce an anomaly out that way, or are they up to something far more nefarious?
