Yesterday’s post of the gothic A-frame in British Columbia inspired a submission from Garvan de Bruir, a leather craftsman who built his own workshop with a similar silhouette.

He is also building a house in Kildare, Ireland using the same style. It’s prefabricated with OSB and plywood, clad in cedar and roofed with corrugated iron.

The Irish film takes place on the seaside. Sarah walks along lip syncing to her song. There is no tricks or choreography, but they have coloured the film to make it more vintage. The wind works against her and it is clearly filmed in winter so she’s cold. It suits the song though as it is a simple rhythm and the song is about simple things.
