“ Mmm, you’re right. ” She continued, lifting her gaze off of the map that Albus had lent to her brother. “ The world is much too fast for me. I mean, just look at this school! ” She sighed and drummed her fingers on the staircase banister.
" Look how big it is. Look how many people are here, all engaging in some
sort of activity that might change my life somehow, and here I am- ”
She let out a big laugh and shrugged lightly.
“ Ah well, who knows?
Maybe talking to you might change me somehow-
- in a good way, I hope.”

he said, being all to quick to remind her of the minimal age difference the two
shared. Maybe he was making a big deal out of the situation, likely shouldn't
have been so awed by the idea that there were still new things in the world,
but Teddy couldn't help it. At this point in his life ignorance already felt like a
foreign concept, at least on a larger scale. It was true, and with no vanity
intended in the thinking of the thought. It was ENTITLEMENT at best, no more
then was shared by the larger portion of the wizarding community, and just
enough to make him slightly jaded about future prospects...
All things considered, the timing of his their
discovery was well placed. Freaky coincidence,
not that he believed in those anymore, either.
