•。 ❀ 𝒯he hopeless romantic nestled deep in the core of Muffy as an individual always jumped out when the topic of love is in the air - such as when she had decided to visit the park on one of her days available from work to reread a romance novel that gave her nostalgia from her youth; rather, during her early 20s when this author released her first book, and thereafter - it became a bestseller. Her heart merely melted towards any concept involving love, but this was one of the few novels that she could read over and over again without becoming tiresome of it. She reminisced to the prime of her modeling career when she actually attended one of the promotional parties for Iridescent Rose; it was such a spectacular evening despite not meeting the novelist herself in the flesh; nonetheless, though, it was enough of an experience to cherish now that she was older and a bit wiser.
𝒮he shifted her position on the bench, moving her leg to a more comfortable place when her cell phone slipped out of the pocket of her shawl unto the concrete. Goodness gracious, it had made a surprising distance along the concrete - she simply hoped that the screen had not cracked again. Clumsiness was not one of her virtues, to say the least.
𝒰nexpectedly, another woman leaned forward to pick it up and hand it to her. Before Muffy could express her gratitude, her eyes befell upon her amethyst eyes - recognizing her almost immediately.
𝒮peaking of the devil. “Thank you...” Muffy lingered after her pause, hesitantly accepting the phone prior to speaking up once again. “I hope you don’t mind me asking, but... are you Iridescent Rose?” What were the odds that she would stumble across a famous author such as herself in a smaller city like this?
