oregon: that's where i went to college! we won the college world series once and have been in the postseason consistently
fenway park: i was drafted by the red sox after college! (in case you couldn't tell i live in boston in my cr too 🥴)
tattoo: i have a bunch in this dr- if you saw my tattoo tour it goes into detail
lamborghini: that's my car! using the paycheck well 💀. i love the look of the countach and all the angles and lines of it
quotes (top to bottom):
⭑ i definitely have trouble dealing with stress and pressure (let's face it- i do in every reality 😭), but i work really hard to regulate and work through my emotions. i'm a perfectionist so i would get so mad after certain outings but i have improved 😊
⭑ i was basically raised by my grandmother- she took me to all my little league games and was my biggest supporter. i definitely have learned a lot from her
so this dr is really important to me. i love baseball so much, although i've only really gotten into it in the past three years or so. while i love watching, i long to play. for y'all who saw my post about shifting being for those who realized their dreams too late, it was referencing this dr.
i'm old. well, not really, but old for starting a new sport with full intent to go pro. and on top of that, i'm a woman. not to sober this experience but i do not have many opportunities in life.
so, i'm shifting here. this dr has connections, success, friendship, and the opportunity i have been missing my entire life. ♡
location (left to right): inside left forearm, right knee, left upper arm (above elbow)
iris explains: i'm really into science and anatomy in my cr and this dr. if i wasn't playing i'd probably be in some stem field. it's always really calming to remember that i'm just a bunch of bones and muscles working together
☆ sentimental??? ☆
location (left to right): left upper arm (with other tattoo), below neck, underneath previous
iris explains: i'm not the sentimental type- i tend to keep going forward and take things as they come. but everything here is a tribute to my grandmother, who basically raised me. the shell with the fibonacci sequence is because she loved the ocean (and i love math), the moth represents the moths we used to see when we'd go out for ice cream after a little league game, and mallory anne was her name (duh)
☆ mechanics ☆
location (left to right): left hand. i don't have three hands
iris explains: i think of myself as a machine. y'know, go out there, do my thing every start. it reminds me to focus on mechanics and stay consistent. i also think it's fun to have all the natural stuff on this arm and go down to mechanical things
☆ messages ☆
location (left to right): right shoulder, left ribcage area, right collarbone
iris explains: really all of this reminds me to stay humble. i'm just one piece in a giant universe, don't fly too close to the sun, that sorta stuff. "semper idem", if i'm correct, translates to "always the same". i take it two ways. i'll always be the same- i can bounce back and be consistent. and, i am not better than anyone else. i will be the same today and tomorrow, and the most i can do is keep going with it
