Just a job
It was about noon on a bright spring day in a pretty peaceful town. Not a lot was going and people were going about the day.
Crow sat in a cafe in the outside section fixing his white hair and leaning back with a lit cigarette in his fingers. Every now and then he took a puff and sighed as he faced down the road towards a particular shop.
To most people passing by it just looked like he was bored or waiting for someone. He wore casual clothing, t-shirt, jeans and what looked like running sneakers. Every now and then Crow checked his phone, but for the most part watched the shop.

“Whoever’s paying for this better have their info straight....” he grumbled and squinted at the blurry photo on the screen. He could just barely make out the details of a young woman’s face, the guy must have been in a hurry to take it, under that being the address of business, and the details as to why this woman had a hit on her. Supposedly she’s working for a bigger name that operates in the Otherworld. Rough details suggest she deals in potions of varying degrees, which could potentially be the source as to how the families are getting their hands on more.... questions brews.
Putting out his cigarette he sighed and stood up deciding to make his way and at the very least check inside the shop. Get a scope for the woman calling herself Iris.
Crow kept his magical aura under control, simply letting out enough to where any other magical being could tell he was, at the very least, an acreage level mage.
Walking into the shop he immediately darted his eyes around looking at everything he could. Rows of various items with magical properties, no real alarm system, cameras, anything modern really, an elaborate cat bed that looked more like a castle, and a few plants here and there. He took a second to make mental notes and started to casually look around
