One of these was washed in an alkali solution afterbeing washed in a solution of ferrous sulfate, the other was not. Its wild how drastic a difference that makes! I'd love to see if there is any evidence for this in historic dying techniques. If i can get the original wash darker the end result should be something incredible!!!
