It's been years since last i worked with leather, and i still have no idea what im doing, but it turned out okay i think!

Always wanted one in natural, they patina so nicely over time.

Started making Doctor's Bag 2.0 this weekend taking all the things I learned the first time to heart. It was a good prototype, but after ApoXeast there were a number of fundamental flaws that I would need to address.

Anyway, started off with precut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in panels of two different types of leather - the lower quality one is stiff almost like poster board and is nice and rigid. Those, coupled by a cut to size license plate sandwiched in the middle makes the sides super reinforced.

For the seams im using doubled up 10mm duck canvas so there will be flexibility to open up the sides without bending any of the leather. Will also give it better edges too.

I constructed a pocket for ye old Wasteland Bible, along with elastic bands to hold 2 square dropper bottles and a "wasteland suture kit" comprised of a thick ass yarn needle, some waxed hemp thread and a leather finger cot.

The bottom i just put in the bottle 4 pack in: a soft sided holster to fit 4 oz bottles, was a lot harder this time around but managed it. The above is a pretty rough put-together so far. This box will only have 4 instead of 6 since im going to prioritize giving people droppers of incredibly nasty, strong (not Malort) extract. The medicines will be for the special people.
