We got this!

This was a hard week, I am not going to lie.

This time it was a one-week individual project that required  a lot more time than the previous projects. There were some moments where I thought that I wasn’t going to make it, but luckily we had the emotional support of the rest of the classmates and we encouraged the other to finish the work!💪💪

During the day I spend so much energy in the project that during the nights I was dreaming about work too and I woke up even more tired! 😅

But the best moment of the week is when you see all the other projects and realized how much has everyone worked in his own project, and how much we are learning every week!

Next week we are going to be in the Ecuador of the Bootcamp! I cannot believe how fast this is going! Have a nice weekend!🙋‍♀️

Second week at IronHack :)

Second week ✅ How do I feel? Still great ! It was our first project alone and it was a big challenge for me. It went well and I am happy with the idea I came up with, I think it’s actually cool and rewarding than you can in one week potentially improve people’s life with an idea of application that will solve a problem for them. 

Even though I was proud I also realised during the presentation that I had a lot to improve especially regarding time management ! 8 minutes is so fast ! It was very useful the feedbacks we received from the schoolmates and Nevan, I know now the things I should avoid or do for the next project.  

We discovered the CRITS this week, and It was really interesting It helped me to improve my prototype a lot. So YES Overall, even though I felt a bit of lack of sleep, I was really excited and I’m really curious about how is it going to the next Feature project !

First Day at IronHack

Today, finally came the day I was waiting for a long time ! I had a great day, I think it was a very good activity “My name is Oscar” as it actually allowed me to remember everybody’s names (which I thought, wouldn’t be possible on the first day). It’s very interesting to share a class with people from different nationalities and with different background... Diversity is always a good thing and I am very happy I can spend 9 weeks with these people. Furthermore, I am sure we will get to know each-other better when we will work in group ! We have our first team work this week and can’t wait to start ! 

So far, I can say I took the right decision to do this UX/UI bootcamp and it has just started ...
